Technician

Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses and maintains equipment, components, devices or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Excludes technicians working in production or quality assurance.

Must be able to obtain a DOD Clearance. Basic knowledge of electronics, test equipment and trouble shooting skills. Associates Degree in Electronics is preferred.
Must be able to obtain a DOD Clearance. Requires a broad knowledge of electronics, test equipment and trouble shooting skills. An Associates Degree in Electronics Technology is required. Minimum 2 years related work experience.
Must be able to obtain a DOD Clearance. Requires a broad knowledge of electronics, test equipment and trouble shooting skills. Requires an Associates Degree in Electronics Technology with a minimum of 4 years electronics work experience. 2 years Acoustic Test experience is preferred.
Must be able to obtain a DOD Clearance. Requires a broad knowledge of electronics, test equipment and trouble shooting skills. Requires an Associates Degree in Electronics Technology with a minimum of 6 years electronics work experience. 4 years Acoustic Test experience is preferred. Bachelors Degree is preferred.
